The Jacksonville GM Roadster Club is planning a December 20th "evening run" to Valdosta, Georgia and the Festival of Lights at the Wild Adventures Theme Park.  The Festival of Lights event is rated as the most spectacular Christmas lights display in South Georgia and North Florida.  More than two-million lights make up the winter wonderland scene.  You will find the "Lake of Lights" and a "Living Nativity" and other luminous holiday displays.  Since it is a "Theme Park", select rides will be operating.  You can visit their Website at www.wildadventures.net.

 

The Group Rate of $14.99 plus tax is offered to groups of fifteen or more.  There is also a $7.00 parking fee.  I have to give a 72 hours advance notice to the park of our numbers to get the Group Rate.  Please RSVP me at Gene Smith by the close of business Tuesday, December 16th. Again, the date is Saturday, December 20th. from 5PM until 10PM.

 

Jacksonville area participants meet at 2PM at the first westbound I-10 rest stop west of the intersection of I-10 and I-295.  All others meet at the northbound I-75 Georgia Welcome Center at 3:15 PM.  We will motorcade from the Welcome Center to the Theme Park.  I am told there are restaurants at the Theme Park for us to engage in body nourishment.
