JAX GM Roadster October 11 meet in St. Augustine
Please see the following details of the October 11 Meet, Greet and Eat in St. Augustine.

Dear Jacksonville Roadster Club Members and Friends:

I have planned a Meet, Greet and Eat event at the Gypsy Cab Company Restaurant at 828 Anastasia Blvd, St. Augustine, Saturday, October 11th. Plan to meet in the restaurant parking lot at 11:30 AM and have lunch at noon. The purpose of the event is to partake of the food with friends and to collect holiday care package items for our troops in Iraq. Our Club's Vice President, Ed Maroon, will box the items for shipment to his son stationed in Iraq. His son will distribute the items to the troops. His son is assigned to the 519th Military Police Battalion of the United States Army. GO, ARMY!! I hope you will join us and bring an item for the care_packages_for_our_troops-1 list.

I realize this is a short notice planned event. However, with Club members and guests planning to be out of state or having visitors in the coming weeks, I wanted to do the care package event so the troops have the items by the holidays. Thanks for understanding. I once was  there where these young service members are today. For the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen serving around the world, the holidays are tough without family and friends nearby. Please help us do a small part by letting Ed's son and members of his unit know that we care about them and pray for their safe return. Hope to see you at the Cab at noon on Saturday, October 11th.

Please RSVP to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by 5PM, Friday, October 10th.
