On Sunday, May 17th, the
Jacksonville GM Roadster Club hold a Meet, Greet and Eat event at
Whitey's Fish Camp, 2032 County Road 220, Orange Park. Reservations
are for 12:30PM. You may visit Whitey's web site at
www.whiteysfishcamp.com. Following lunch, we will hold a short "fun
run" to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Hibernia on Fleming Island.
The chapel is 1 of 5 oldest wooden churches still standing and in use
in Florida. The chapel was completed in 1878. From the chapel, we
plan to continue our "fun run" to the beautiful and serene Springs Park
located in Green Cove Spring on the St. Johns River. The park is the
setting for the mystical spring where water surges to the surface at
times greater than 3,000 gallons per minute at a constant temperature
of 78 degrees. Join Jacksonville GM Roadster Club family for a fun
afternoon at our May Meet, Greet and Eat and Fun Run event. RSVP to
Gene Smith by Thursday, May 14th
.
